<p dir="auto">It is obvious once you think about it: If you do a search for "Winds of Winter book" you get 47,000,000 results pointing to click bait web sites with random made up rumors about the book.<br />
Obviously GRRM has an underground financial stake in the ad revenue from these sites, so the longer he dangles the book in front of people, the more click ad revenue he accumulates.<br />
Brilliant strategy, but we'll never get the book :-).</p>
