More to do with poor writing rather than her being a poor character, but then again i guess you can't have one without the other..

For me.. the part that doesn't make sense is - Daenerys burning Sam's father and brother.
Why it doesn't make sense: cause the Tarly family is in the Reach and loyal to the Tyrells (who are allies with Daenerys)
