i went on walks last summer at 2 o'clock at night. it felt so magical and otherwordly and like an out of body experience bc everything is silent then, no cars, no birds, just me and the only sound is my shoes walking on the street. also it's so quiet that sometimes the silence is deafening to my ears. you know what i mean by that? when a place is silent it can be deafening somehow.
this is the only time i have ever felt in touch with my body and spirit. also i let my mind be blank and this is very comforting to me, just staring up at trees in the dark, and spacing out. it feels great to be one with nature. this is the only time i feel completely alive bc i have a clear mind, so i just am feeling feelings. i also feel like i am a little kid and this is the only way i can feel like a little kid again. i think this is bc the only time we feel this way, so free, without worries, or thinking about things is as a little kid unless we do this, clear our mind and only feel.

i just heard that about a month ago in florida it was still pitch dark at 5 am! so if you are a girl you probably don't want to go on a jog when it is dark out.
