I'm having problems with the show. Someone mentioned this is based on a book or something? I really don't care about that so let me just put my thoughts out there. The whole her future self speaking to her is just pointless. It takes up so little of the "plot" that if you blink you'll miss it. That brings me to the first problem, why even bother with it in the first place. They could have done something quite amazing with it and this is the best they can do?
My second problem is the lead woman, she's doing okay, I don't like the look on her face as constantly "guilty" of something, but that's just nitpicking. The thing is, I'm far more interested in that Camilla character than the Theresa. That's when you know something is wrong. Whoever plays Camilla does a very good job of delivering a very powerful woman that knows what she wants. It seems her story at least has some meat on it unlike the main character which just feels like a boring cliche.
Then there is the last problem which appeared in episode 2. That whole car scene to the airport. It was so ridiculously stupid. I know they were trying to create drama out of nothing and it was so cringeworthy. I hope they avoid doing something like that again. Let's just say I was not immersed by it.
So what's good about it? I mean, I watched episode 2 which kinda means the show wasn't all too bad. It shows some sort of promise but it's walking on a thin line right now. I'd be surprised if Camilla doesn't die soon and then there won't be much reason for me to even watch the show. Maybe the main character gets more interesting because so far she's just not that interesting. Like I've already pointed out the whole future self thing, it's not really working out for me so far. Maybe they'll beef it up a bit in the next episode rather than adding some "blink and you'll miss it" scenes

If you're feeling upbeat and happy, an episode or two of this show will set you into a tailspin. Dismal mood, will delete the unwatched on the DVR.

I've always thought Camilla was grooming Teresa. She (Camilla) seems to take special interest in Teresa. Please plenty of times, Camilla could have taken T out but she didn't. I could tell from the beginning that C liked T.
As for the future T talking to herself, I happen to like that part. It servers a big purpose in the show and how T deals with things and herself. Future T is current T's conscious talking to her, is how I see it.

actually, i personally thought that the drive to the airport was an interesting take in transporting drugs. i'm obviously not an expert on this area, but most folks associate mules with transporting drugs from across the border from mexico to america. here, however, they had apparently arranged for a drop to occur in the "secured" area of the airport using a mule. the plan to smuggle drugs using this method seems actually rather plausible.
as for Teresa's future self, it is more of an imagination of her future self. I don't think it is meant to be "more" than that, such as some kind of sci-fi twist or a deep foreshadowing of events to come.

Camila is the role model for Teresa. She is learning from the best albeit from a prey position rather than as a protege. Maybe in time, Teresa will earn a protege position. Especially if she helps Camila in defeating Epifanio in their upcoming war.
I think the driving-to-the-airport scene was to test Teresa. The stress would have hurled a lesser mule.
