Because it is a really well written character study with a twisted sense of humor, a penchant for the bizarre, and a fantastic cast.

It sounds like Lost. Great at creating intrigue, bad at resolution. Ask questions of the audience which have no answers, etc.

They're late to the party. It sucks ass now. Barring the shock factor from the previous two seasons it always sucked, but it had potential and they threw it all away this season.
