Well that's goes with this whole world that this show is. They react want equity inclusion and diversity. So instead of getting reality we get overwrought non genuine characters and one sided political support and preaching about social sensitivity.

Nothing has changed in race relations or trans things in the last few years.

Exactly. I've never seen anything like this happen in America. And this show is the epidomy of this. This show is miserable. It makes me miserable watching it. To have to hear every character talk pc woke garbage at every situation is horrible.
People don't talk this way and if they did no one wants to hear that. Because it's annoying which is why woke is intolerable.
Woke is complaining about things that don't matter and claiming things are happening that aren't to make yourself feel important so it's actually selfish and pointless. It's claiming racism when there isn't racism.
