<p dir="auto">I was a kid when I saw this, and I never saw the whole thing. I just remember the ending, it seemed to imply the grandma was fake, I think there was a yellow cassette tape in her. And I think it was a kids movie, but it had real actors. I was born in 1986, and I was probably about 5 when I saw it. That's all I know</p>

<p dir="auto">My first mental image is from "The Electric Grandmother" (1982 TV movie). It's based on a Ray Bradbury story titled "I Sing The Body Electric". Previously, it was filmed as an episode of "Twilight Zone".<br />
Of course, I haven't seen the movie for many decades.<br />
