In the goofs sections there are references to 2 different cars. (1) It says the Lexus rolled downhill into a snowbank. (2) When Kate is driving home near the end, she is driving a SAAB. Were there 2 different cars? I only remember one. The car that went into the snowbank wasn't damaged.

Yes they did have two vehicles. One was a black Lexus and the other was the Saab you saw. Maybe the two parents switch cars off and on. Not unusual.
