<p dir="auto">Actually they filmed a death scene and other scenes that never made it into the film. One sister was supposed to live. I guess the producers went with a repeat of shot after shot in the wrong chronological order instead. i guess that's what happens when you change directors before the movie's done.</p>

<p dir="auto">(<em><strong>SPOILER ALERT</strong></em>) (Yeah, like anyone's REALLY going to care)<br />
There's a scene near the end where you're lead to think (via a quick, blurred FX shot) that one of the two female leads (they play sisters) has been obliterated by one of the monster's tentacles.  This is followed by the other sister running with some panicked extras (still filming, every step of the way) while yelling "Have you seen my sister?!?"  She soons finds her sister, bloody and battered, but alive, slumped against a wall.  The camera freezes with a still shot of the two sisters hugging and the caption that roughly said "They were never heard from again"</p>
