How could it be anything but real as dagnammit says this film is so far beyond our puny semi-evolved brain's understanding, that we can't yet begin to understand it greatness
yet one day in the future, society will look back and pity the people that mocked.

This guy is right. This movie is underrated simply because it is so far beyond most people's puny understanding. It's ahead of its time. I should know, I'm from the future. In 100 years, this movie will be so influential that it forms the basis of human society.
