I know this is an old post, but how was the monster well done when the only thing seen is the same tentacle shots repeated over the course of the movie.

I haven't seen Cloverfield yet, but I actually liked Monster. I knew it was a knock off. The monster was unusally well done, because I really thought I would see Godzilla, I wasn't disappointed.
Sometimes the camera would stategicaly focus on the girls, which was cheesy, but you have to expect that.

Yeah I thought it was funny the movie was supposed to take place in 2003 and there was clearly a Number 23 Jim Carrey poster in one of the shop windows.

Actually it takes place on 1-18-03, I saw it this afternoon and it is absolutly terrible. Do not waste your time on this movie. See my other post about it and you will understand.

i think it says 1-15-07 because this supposed "documentary" took place on that date
