<p dir="auto">At the start of round 2, Jess is confident that she can break the cycle, save everybody, and get back to her boy.  At the end of it, she sees that she failed, everyone died, and sshe is still stranded.  So she concludes her only way to get back to her kid is to kill them all and then break the cycle by stopping the Triangle from boarding.</p>
