<p dir="auto">The home invasion that sets up the film is reminiscent of the Cheshire home invasion murders. Two men, one older and one younger like in the movie, invaded a home and killed a man's family. It happened two years before the release. I can understand why they wouldn't want to advertise that they were inspired by those murders. The older killer is now a woman.</p>
