Captain Pike isn't there, the Ghost of Christmas present is there, Nurse Chapel can beat up a legion of Klingon warriors, the Doctor and her get blown into space Guardians of the Galaxy style (And without incident) - all set againsst the backdrop of the motives for the movie Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
Oh, and at the end they add a little dedication to Nichelle Nichols to truly twist the knife.
