… since Peter Billingsley (Ralphie in “A Christmas Story”) appeared as an unrelated character in the original’s finale, as a homage to ACS which was the inspiration for “The Wonder Years.” It’d be so cool if the reboot’s eventual finale ended with Dean Williams interacting with Kevin Arnold. This works out since Don Cheadle resembles his younger counterpart, while Daniel Stern looks nothing like Fred even though they ironically played father and son in “Little Monsters.”
