Neither do I.
Some little kid who was with his dad at the beach of one of the seas or an ocean asked his dad how all that water got there.
His father, on the spot and not wanting to embarrass himself by saying, "I don't know son. Ask your mother," instead made it all up of the great flood as to what covered the earth with all that water.
OK I am half kidding with the father and son story but I do think they made up a lot of bible stories before we had the knowledge of science and evolution to explain so much today.
