I just wanted to say that I was so happy that this movie referenced Leslie Vernon. To this day I consider Behind the Mask one of the BEST slasher films of any era and am sad that we have never seen Leslie again. Good to know he gets a little recognition.

Ditto - the "Behind the Mask" reference was awesome to see. I think it was just Adam Green giving a nod to another movie he really dug. He's cool like that.

I'm 100% with you scarylibrarythe last chunk of Behind the Mask was very dissapointing, I've been meaning to rewatch this flick to see if my opinion changes.
As for the Leslie Vernon reference in THIS movie, was there a reason FOR the reference??? I didn't think Adam Green was involved with that other film in any way.

I loved this reference too! I will say that for the most part, I really enjoyed the "Behind the Mask" movie, but I was pretty disappointed with the last third of the film. I heard a rumor that there'd be a sequel but that was awhile back and I've not heard news of it since.
