Well considering Homage is pronounced like "Ah-mige" I would say "An" sounds more appropriate.

It CAN be pronounced either way, any reputable dictionary will tell you that. The etymology of it is basically from "homo" though.. so do you go around calling people "oh-mo Sapiens" or say "oh-munculus" or maybe that something is "oh-mogeneous" then?

Umm, you prounounce "homage" oh-mauj, not HO-mauj, so "an" is the only correct way to say it.

I've generally always heard it pronounced with an H. It just sounds awkward without it. I do think it can pronounced either way though.

It would be "an" because in most cases the "h" in homage is silent, so any word beginning with a vowel (vowel sound) is preceeded by "an" not "a."

Are you pronouncing the word "Homage" correctly in these head exercises? If so, "An" would be the only option that makes sense.
