When Harry is preparing his breakfast, he spreads the toasts with a topping, but what is it? Very hard for me to tell if it's jam or something else.
If it's jam, then what kind?
I don't know why, but I'm curious if it's something special that elder people uses as topping by old habits.

It's not just old people.
I'm not kidding, in every single british movie that I have seen, which has a breakfast scene in it, they always eat toast with jam and tea.
So it's safe to say that it's a british thing.
And it does look rather tasty everytime for being so simple.
