<p dir="auto">The earring that Jack steals during the chase through London, does it ever reappear?<br />
I would have thought it was in some deleted scene, or appeared in the mass that is his hair, but nothing on the Internet gives no clue what comes of it. It got so much screen attention.<br />
My friend seems to think he swallowed it, but that seems a little too mad, even for Jack</p>

<p dir="auto">I thought there was a purpose, but could it be that he's simply a pirate who steals things? There was an opportunity to make a pretty penny with what looked to be an expensive piece of jewelry so he went for it.<br />
And going out of his way to do petty things like that when in dire situations fits perfectly with his character.</p>
