<p dir="auto">Oh, thank you. Well, you know, I'm not sure I got your point before lol  about the scorpion. It is a very good one.<br />
It has been a little while since I saw the movie, so my remembered impression of the character is that she was not exactly together. So perhaps the brooch was a very good symbol if also its, to me, inexpert placement meant something, too. Perhaps she was a sort of rumpled character who nevertheless hid a sting, as you say, which could hurt someone. Sad, because that sort of person tends to hurt him- or herself the most.</p>

<p dir="auto">I didn't think about that point. I thought the choice of the scorpion was a little symbolic ie, able to sting everyone. Just my two cents.</p>

<p dir="auto">I thought it was kind of weird and not really well placed, which a woman her age and stage might do. Sort of a throwback to the 60's which the character was from.</p>
