Did anyone else think her hair looked crap during the shoots? Even Tonne what's-her-face summed it up well - lackluster.

I agree the whole shot was crap, but actually felt bad for Sienna being criticised so much for her hair, then teeth etc by all of them. What we didn't hear was why did Anna choose her on the first place. Sienna is not such a huge celebrity to justify cover page solely for that reason, so Anna must have seen something positive in her originally.

They wanted to give her a pixie haircut like the one Jean Seberg wore in "Breathless". But she didn't want to cut her hair. Which, I think, made them lose enthusiasm for her cover shoot in Vogue.
Maybe she should have cut her hair. I mean, where is Sienna Miller now? Really? She should have looked upon the Vogue shoot as a career move not a perk.

I could not figure out why the Vogue ladies hated her hair so much. It was just medium length, wavy hair. Surely there was something that could have been done with it.

Didn't their hairstylist have the talent to give her hair volume? I have thin hair like Sienna (Her describing her hair as too thick was hilarious) and I easily put waves, curls and volume in it everyday just by using a roll brush hair dryer.
That tiny knot they "styled" her hair up to at the end was sad to look at.
Her posture in those pictures were terrible too, why on earth did she bend forward like that?
Don't tell me, it's no use to me. Tell yourself if you want to but don't tell me.

I thought the color block shoot was trite and uninteresting. We have seen that so many times before. Sienna Miller's slicked back hair looked terrible. It was not fashionable nor interesting. I also found Testino's "vision" to be really lame. We have seen it so many times before - the "Roman Holiday" thing. I loved the documentary because it just showed how NOT very good most of these people are.

Yes, she was bad, and Testino didn't do a good job shooting it either. That was the whole point. Miller and Testino's lackluster photoshoot represented the first real crisis of the film and ratcheted up the tension, which only got more intense when Anna nixes the color blocking shoot just a day before they go to press. This sets up the dramatic conclusion where Grace, Patrick Demarchelier, and Caroline Trentini (with a little help from the documentary cameraman himself)are forced to come through with a brilliant last second shoot to save the day.

Wintour will eventually be exposed as the person who has been sitting at the right hand of Baphomet.
Scary woman. Do not cross her.

I was shocked when I saw those photos. They were terrible. Not just the hair either. Her face wasargh.
Also, I've never even heard of her.

Someone made the point, in the Vogue offices, that Miller's hair looked limp and lifeless. So they immediately said, 'We'll put a wig on her' - that solves it.

she sees nothing in Miller but celebrity. It would sell. Wintour ain't got a vision, shes got a feel, a feel for the pulse of ephemeral Celebutante zeitgeists. Its rather superfulous.. a magazine people will pile up, and then will have to throw out. Ive seen piles of old issues on my street and exactly the same in New york. You can't complain about Miller, or even good taste. Its all executed in the best possible (passable) taste as of & for the moment. So much can be "shot" that most of it is bound to be as ephemeral as the worlds daily papers. Make a scrapbook of your favourite bits or else buy a wharehouse and hoard ever-mounting back issues.

It was an awful shoot, they really could get nothing out of her. The pictures looked terrible and unprofessional, and Miller herself was self important, boring and uncharismatic throughout.
This film should be renamed "Everybody Hates Sienna Miller"!

I wondered about the insistence of using Sienna Miller for the cover. Is she really a celebrity? Is she really the best-dressed celebrity?
I didn't see anything special about Sienna that would inspire me so I wonder what Anna sees in her.

I thought the whole shoot looked crap. She was so awkward, Testino couldn't get much out of her; that's why there were so few photos. So much for Wintour's vaunted brainwave to use celebrities instead of models.
