The first two are boss flicks.
3 was a disappointing mess
Resurrection was a laughable dung heap
Both the AVPs were embarrassing
Prometheus had real potential…but it **** the bed
Covenant…I honestly don't even remember it
Romulus was about 1/3 of an okish flick.
To me this series has been as close to the first two installments yet.im not saying it's been great…but definitely serviceable. Dig the corporate angle… dig the vibes of the originals… really liking the new alien species! Not really feeling the human/android hybrid thing…not really on board with some continuity/canon decisions/issues. Oddly don't mind the kids and feel they blend in way better than the youngsters in Romulus. NOT feeling the symbiotic imprint communication thing going on with wendy and the alien…and I kinda want the brother to die… he's sort of a doosh

I've seen clips over the years. The tone is waaaay different, but it is amusing. Am due to watch the whole thing. Not sure I consider it canon though.

I like Resurrection very much but I see it as separate from the first three. Ripley is part Alien and that makes for some interesting differences!

I haven't watched Resurrection lately to know whether I like it enough to count it, but yeah, the first three are the true timeline to me.

yeah, if i were to add any more movies, it would be predator 2. i just wanted to keep things tidy.
i actually think alien earth is developing into more of a blade runner show with some aliens running around. kind of like walking dead and the zombies.

It's definitely it's own thing. No indication whatsoever Predators exist in the Alien universe.
