Been reading Marvel's Alien comics lately. They got the rights in 2020. They're pretty good and have me interested in seeing more of this world. They have had 3 arcs so far. First two were about 7 issues a piece, current one is about 4 in. Each has been a different story with different characters and it really reminded me how big this universe is. Lots of possibilities with a TV show. I'm excited about the idea. I love seeing franchises expanded on.

TV has made insane progress the last 15-20 years. It's surpassed movies in many ways. With the quality and of acting having improved drastically, this could bode well for a universe like Alien. Dark, serious, seedy corporate stuff, insane artificial intelligence… Lots of potential.
