<p dir="auto">NBC's programming choices have grown progressively more self-destructive over the years, but this is the last straw.<br />
Jay has handled this situation in a way that disrespects his fellow comedians and the legacy of the tonight show.  I have no desire to support someone who would pull the rug out from under a fellow entertainer who was trying to get his footing.<br />
If you don't want to retire, don't agree to it in the first place.  And if your primetime show isn't doing as well as hoped, maybe you should make a graceful exit rather than stepping on the feet of Conan and his hard-working crew.</p>
