And that is what a lot of "Team Conan" people are missing. Both Jay and Conan are acted pretty petty though I think Jay at least tried to bring a bit of civil discourse into it last night. But the difference is Jay has earned the right to act like a primma donna like Brett Farve has and Conan has not. "Team Conan" fans are acting like Conan wasn't struggling in the ratings. He was. Big time. He was down over 30 percent in every demo including the younger audiences and was getting pounded by David Letterman who hadn't touch number 1 since the first term of the Clinton administration. And let's not forget "Team Conan" people that Conan was getting beaten on a regular basis over the last 18 months of his 12:30 slot by Craig Ferguson (the funniest guy in late night btw). Bottom line, when your number 1 for 15 years during a time you have immense competition and your lead-ins suck..you earn the right to retire/unretire and act like a drama queen just like Brett Farve. Conan has not earn that right. Case closed. 😃
