Does anyone else think this series is a bitt similar to The Film Gangs of NewYork ?
Jonathan is a Valentine a guy trying to avenge a death of someone Close to him he inflirtates in the world of a very charming and dangerous powerful men that guy( Roper/ bill the Butcher) who takes Valentine/ Jonathan as his protege and wanrs him how bad would if he betrayed him.
He still does it and to make it worse he gets involved with Roper's/Bill girlfriend who are obviously discovered for their betrayal
