I second The Lobster and Ex Machina, as well as (in order of decreasing similarity to "Under the Skin"):
The Machinist
Trainspotting
Mulholland Drive
Requiem for a Dream
Synecdoche, NY
American Beauty
Eyes Wide Shut
Dancer in the Dark

This film is extremely similar to the French film "The Evil Within," (stupidly re-named "Baby Blood" for American dvd release.) In fact at times i thought "Under the Skin" was some kind of re-boot of that film. I definitely recommend you see that. I also recommend "Possession" with Isabelle Adjani; very similar..
Fabio Testi is GOD

Had very similar vibes to The Lobster for me. And if you like the indie-sci-fi thing, check out Ex Machina.
