Prometheus only got a pamphlet explaining that the black goo had extramovital information associated with it, however Covenant got a whole 48 deleted scenes (Both filmed and discarded from the original script) to conclude Prometheus properly and add missing depth to Covenant
Any day now, some day soon, Prometheus will become the cult classic that all the lovers knew it would be. It's only been 14 years since it was released, there's a whole year left until it gets to that sweet 15 year spot that movies must reach to become cult classics
