The first couple of times I watched it I wasn’t impressed. Then I began to really pay attention. I ended up liking it.

There is plenty to like about Prometheus. Half the movie is as close to perfection as anyone alive could dream of making.
It's a solid 5/10.
It's just that other 5/10 that is missing is where my focus goes
I can tell you joke with a rubbish punchline. The telling of the joke becomes the point because the punchline carries no weight, in fact the more rubbish it is the better it gives credence to the telling.
That was Prometheus and in that regard it was hilarious

Sometimes you just have to suspend a lot of disbelief and go along with the ride. A lot of action. Liked the was it was shot.

I went to the cinema to see this amazing cast being led under Sir Ridders in a documentary on evolution set to the theme of Alien where they got even the most basic facts wrong.
Sounds about right, I can see how everyone signed off on that one at the initial board meeting
