From the Girlfriend IndieGoGo fundraiser page:
"Hi Everyone! Thank you for all of your continuing support! With less than a month left we realize we are most likely not going to reach our goal of $110,000. That's OKAY! If we can reach $40,000 by the end of our campaign the film will still be able to get to all of you via VOD, DVD and online streaming, and hopefully a theatre or two as well. We're almost there! Continue to help us spread the word"
I am sad that it will not get to the theaters as I wanted. I would like to at least see it on DVD so please donate if you can or consider spreading the word. Thanks.

Good possibility that it could go to theaters. Right now it is screening in a couple of film festivals. See if you can go to one of those and keep checking out the Girlfriend site for any additional screenings.

Awe! I really wanted this to go to theatres. 😕 the trailer looks so good. and it would've spread awareness about Autism. at the very least I hope it will be coming to DVD soon.
