MCU fans are biased hypocrites
IMO

It's not a double standard. Fans are bitchy about Zendaya, even though they say it's because of her acting. But we don't even know for sure if Zendaya is playing Mary Jane, so it might all turn out to be an overreaction to a complete misunderstanding.

What you say would have more weight if it were remotely true. First, Zendaya's character is presently listed as Michelle. That of course is subject to change, but why would anyone complain about a new character? And of course the biggest complaint with changing Johnny's race was that it altered the relationship with his sister Sue. I always felt if you were going to change one of them, it would be best to alter Reed.
