Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a film that I watched in the 90's. It's about a woman held hostage by a man (psychopath), who was in love with her. I remember her with a broken arm. He also killed her friend (roommate?). I remember the moment when she was trying to pass the little note through a window ventilator to a man that was sweeping leaves. I believe that man was also killed by her abductor. She eventually started pretending she's in love with him too and they prepared the dinner and she poisoned him with some sort of sauce/jam that had some bacteria in it.
Anyone, please?
Thank you!
M.

It's "Deadbolt" from 1992. There's a full version up on Youtube, and I've just watched that very scene with the vent and the leaf sweeper.
