If ever any further evidence was needed that most Americans can't be trusted with guns…
The guy who shot the couple was clearly mentally unbalanced, like about 40% of the population (most of them Republicans, I'm sure). Why do morons like that have access to guns at all? It's like giving a grenade to a small child.
The good news is: the moron shot himself afterwards. Thank God! Otherwise the NRA would have made him a hero, and the Republicans would have collected money to bail him out.
And then some dumb newscaster will blame it on lockdown!!! As if dumb Americans haven't been shooting each other for decades!
The NRA will now issue a statement that if everyone involved was carrying, nothing would have happened. Never bring a snow-shovel to a gunfight!
