2. That he liked me better than himself (common sense, that)
3. That he knew one of the choices applied to him (he didn't specify which one, which was rather cunning of the old donkey!)
4. That he never thought about any of his posts, either before, after or during posting (I can understand this: I too find them almost impossible to read).
