<li>That he liked me better than himself (common sense, that)</li>
<li>That he knew one of the choices applied to him (he didn't specify which one, which was rather cunning of the old donkey!)</li>
<li>That he never thought about any of his posts, either before, after or during posting (I can understand this: I too find them almost impossible to read).</li>
