Well, I did watch it to the end, so it couldn't have been too terrible. But the idea that Carl was helping a Muslim called Siddiqui who was killing zombies to respect his mother, who believed that in doing so he was "freeing their souls" was too much for me to swallow. Are the writers high?

The Negan thing was stoopid. Who needs a goddamn prisoner in the post apocalyptic world?
But I liked that the showrunners remembered that we are supposed to be rooting for Rick, he had to have some decency and hope and empathy again, a smidge. For a few seasons he was running around being a paranoid and sour maniac.

The passing of Carl made me laugh uncontrollably. Also, why save Negan except to ensure good villainy further down the line?
