I love Irish film. Quite a few gems.
I've bought Grabbers 3 times over. Once for myself and the rest for friends on their birthdays.

Really liked the two police officer lead characters.

I'd say you have a flawed way of looking at the ratings system if you think 6.3 is a low rating, especially for a film like this one. Too many folks on IMDB these days are using a 4 star system: 1-2 stars for a film they disliked and 9-10 stars for a film they enjoyed. I give 6 stars to good, satisfactory movies that definitely should be watched by fans of the genre and may be enjoyed by others as well. Anything 7-8 stars may have some minor flaws but virtually everyone will appreciate watching and not leave the theater disappointed, since these films are well worth the price of a ticket. 9-10 stars is reserved for the classics that achieve something revolutionary and unforgettable, which rarely ever come along.

Agreed. This is one of my go-to movies when I want sci-fi or something fun. IMO, this is what those Shaun of the Dead/End of the World/Etc. movies should have beena well-made, fun genre piece without some bizarre finale that leaves a bad taste in you mouth.

I gave it seven out of 10. I think it's quite funny and engaging.
