I didn't notice that they had such a big age difference, it's not like he was about to become a pensioner. Quite a believable couple in my opinion.

The same argument was made for "Final Destination 2" (2003); the characters of officer Burke (Michael Landes) and Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook). She was nineteen or twenty at most, he was in his mid 30s. Considering what they had gone through and what she did for him (for the both of them) at the end; who cares? They're both honorable people, who made sacrifices to save others. The age difference was/is immaterial.

What? No way. I thought he was very attractive, and noticed they had great chemistry right away. They were hot together. I think divorced middle aged drunk fancying a young woman in her early 20's is pretty realistic. That she look back, maybe not quite as realistic. Although if the divorced middle aged drunk looks like this guy did, probably.

I think some of you are either quite young, or crazy. He doesn't look that old, for one - and two, she doesn't look that young. She could be anywhere from 22-35 and he's definitely under 50. (Just checked - he is 41.)
I'm used to seeing 40ish women who look almost as good as she does - maybe in your parts of the world women age much more poorly than they do here?

If he had a hair cut and shave he would look no more than maybe 7-9 years older, but I do agree horror movies should not have much love stories to them.

His character of Jeff on Coupling was great. I first saw him in the series Strange, as a defrocked priest investigating demons. Loved that show and wish they had made more.

The age difference between these two is the same age difference between my wife and I.
Haven't seen this movie yet, but definitely want to check it out. I really like the main actor in this film (his character in COUPLING was awesome).

Nuttin wrong with that. Its common for girls in Europe to marry older men who are mature and more likely to be devoted.

I thought it was a little weird but overall I don't think it is a terrible idea. Most of these horror comedies have two characters that end up together and I just expected this. It's a stereotype think like in first person horrors otherwise known as found footage movies the main cast all die and when you think it is finally going to be okay the last two characters that survive or last character (who is always a girl) will meet a horrific fate.

I kind of agree, dat age gap took away from the movie.

Never ever! Only couples that are ever attracted to each other, are the ones who are born within 2 months of each other, at the max!
I can believe blood sucking sea monsters that are nothing but tentacles and teeth but a romance between 2 people who aren't the exact same age?! NEVER!!
I gave this movie a 7. It was entertaining, had a few stupid things but was good fun, like it promised.
