This is one of those deals where less would have been more. The less we saw of the grabbers. the better it would have been. The little ones were just silly, but I do realize this was a comedy first and then a horror film. It just seemed like they had this great idea and ran out of ways to make it a full length feature. Would have been so much better if they'd cut about 20 minutes out and added 5 more of the old drunk!

I thought this film was fine and funny from start to finish, plus the aliens were really goddamn ****ing gnarly.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

Have you ever been to Ireland? Those weren't characters. I thought this was a documentary on rural Irish life.

Agreed! The townspeople were such characters and so hilarious that they really carried the movie on their own without the need of the aliens.

Yes, although the special FX are good for a relatively low budget film, the most interesting parts of the movie IMO, didn't include the aliens. They were really just a sidelight.

I was thinking the same thing when I first watched it. I remember thinking that it was starting to drag a bit.
