If you're not adhering to all of the fundamental tenets of your religion, then wth is the point?
Do you acknowledge baptism for the dead, as do the LDS?
"Otherwise what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why also are they baptized for them?" (1 Corinthians 15:29)
John Chrysostom described Marcionite necrobaptism: "For if one of their catechumens dies, they conceal a living person beneath the bier of the departed, approach the corpse, talk with the dead person, and ask him whether he intended to receive baptism. Thereupon the person who is concealed, speaking from beneath for the other who does not answer, avers that he did indeed plan to be baptized, and then they baptize him for the departed one" (
Homilies
40). Epiphanius of Salamis wrote of the Cerinthians that "when some of them die before being baptized, others are baptized in place of them, in their name, so that when they rise in the resurrection they may not have to pay the penalty of not having received baptism and become subject to the authority of the one who made the world" (
Panarion
28). The LDS are the only modern-day sect which continue this practice, rendered scriptural by its mention in 1 Corinthians.

I honestly have
more respect
for the Muslims who are torturing and beheading their enemies, than the ones who aren't. At least the terrorists are correctly following their Prophet's words.
I don't agree with your assessment of Islam, you'd have to show me the words in their Quran.
But let's turn this around:
Jesus said to his followers to "
love
your
enemy
." He said to be "not of" this world. (Or no part of it.) These two really go hand in hand.this world is loaded with people hating others, killing due to race, nationalism, culture, religion, etc.
Should Christians take part?
Those who don't, who are being obedient to Christ despite persecution, like JW's.do you respect them?
I don't follow links from supes, even when relayed by his "good friends" - otherwise why should I have it on ignore?
