She was the most annoying character in this movie. When had her little fit about the cigarette while farking aliens are everywhere, I almost lost it.

I was exactly the same. Everything she did was frustrating! I couldn't take her wooden acting either. It actually annoyed me that she was the only one left alive at the end. (That doesn't mean I wanted her baby to die).
