I'm not a fan of Marvel comics or cartoons (Nothing against them, there's just a lot of them) but have heard on the circuit of people who know about such things that there was trepidation about what the show would be like (DEI, race/gender swapping and that kinda thing) but all in all everyone thinks it did a great job. It's still touched a little by "Woke" but everything always has been a bit of a moral story and this seemingly doesn't over do it

Black, gay dude and so no #MeToo stuff but he did get fired
Fans of it say it was a pretty good follow up to the original too
