What was that all about? Was Tricia's psychiatrist correct and she was just having hallucinations because of her worries and fears about declaring him dead, or did the visions have something to do with his disappearance and reappearance? The "ghost" Daniel was angry, sinister, and scary, then when the real Daniel came back, he was relieved to see his wife, even if he was terribly frightened and timid.

I think Daniel's line "I know what you did." was simply Trish's guilt over declaring him dead. That's what she
did
.
We've met before, haven't we?

My interpretation was the spider-monsters dragged you into a parallel universe where the victim could see our universe but not vice-versa like a one way mirror so the victim is basically a ghost.
For some reason the preggo chick was actually able to see through into the alternate universe but she could still not interact with it, probably because she was into meditation and was more aware than the other people.

Yeah when the detective saw him too was awesome. Though, I wonder why the ghost kept terrorizing her and If I'm not mistaken said something like "I know what you did", I honestly thought she killed the husband and was trying to erase the event from her mind.

What about the film countered that it wasn't a gateway to hell?
Sayonara, not to be confused with cyanide, which is, of course, goodbye in any language.

Definitely a red herring; there is no reason to believe that the ghost was real. This movie actually had me guessing that the tunnel was a gateway to hell or something for awhile.
Plus, it makes for a great scene when the two are about to go on the date and all of a sudden the cop guy can see Daniel too.
I have gone away to come back. For the ones I left behind. For the ones who cannot out.
