It is history though what are they saying?
Are they implying that it might not be history?

Because it did. Otherwise it would be myth not history.
That sort of intentionally moronic line belongs on a Wayan's Brother's horror movie spoof not a movie that intends to take itself seriously unless the writer didn't pay attention in grammar school and had no idea what he was saying.
I gotta laugh every time I think of that line.

or
"What if it wasn't just history? What if it was. a MYTH!"
I mean what is the logical conclusion to that question "what if it wasn't just history". That is hilarious.
