Okay at the end the EMTs said only one body was found. She said something and the movie ended.
So does that mean after hacking the kid 20 times he still lived? Or did her boyfriend somehow make it and is going to be in part II?

I thought that when the boyfriend was fighting with Thomas, he might have gotten some blood in his mouth. I was sure the end was going to have some twist where either the boyfriend or the girlfriend gets the hunger (she could have gotten some blood in her mouth as she was bashing Thomas).
