Cloverfield<br />
. It's not a stretch to imagine these two being linked within the "JJverse", but are there specific Easter eggs in each film that directly link them up or establish that they're in the same canon?</h2>

<p dir="auto">That was from 2011, he could have changed his mind especially sinde 10 Cloverfield Lane has aliens and has the KELVIN gas station which only came out in Super 8</p>

<p dir="auto">You're not the first ones to make the connection. J.J. Abrams himself stated that the two films DO NOT take place in the same universe. He said the reason the aliens look similar is because they were both designed by Neville Page. You can read the proof of this here:<br />
