Snow White never suffered. The Queen wasn't scary. This was really dumb.

I agree. I watched it on TV last night and thought it was pretty bad.

This trumps over Snow white and the huntsman any day and they go and make a sequel for that one? Dumb dumb dumb

This movie is closer to the Snow White story than Snow White and the Hutsman.
And why would you walked out of a movie that you paid for? If you really wanna find out if it's good or not, you can read reviews and watch the trailers.

It's the movie equivalent of "shiny".
It doesn't matter how ugly, useless or uninteresting something is to me, if it's shiny I will check it out.
There is a psychological aspect to films,and the people that understand that aspect are modern day wizards and grand magicians.
Nathan Lane is what kept me around. He's one of the few comic actors who can make anything work script wise. He's a master at making campy/cheesy entertaining for all. He can break the 4th wall without breaking the 4th wall. Genius.

Just saw parts of it on TV tonight and it was dreadful. But I was drawn to it like I was to a train wreck. Simply ghastly.

I thought that was the main issue with the movie as well. There were many times when the lines were strange & not very realistic. People just didn't talk the way normal people would, even considering the day & age it was set it. A bit choppy & many lines did not flow.

How do you pay $9 (or whatever) for a movie, that the preview clearly gives major hint as to what it's about, and then walk out?

You know it's so stupid when I read people "walked out." Are you that impatient that you need to see movies in theaters no matter how long until it's on DVD? Puh lee ese. So much for your money.

A real shame Tarsem didn't make a dark, serious version of the tale, instead of a stupid and supposedly comedic one.
Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
