Yes there was. In the scene where the Baron posts the flyer regarding taxes, you can see a woman of color in the crowd. I noticed her immediately. There was also a man of color in one of the party scenes. I think the villagers were probably a mix of ethnicities actually. This was a comedic film so I believe the director (who himself is a person of color - of East Indian descent) was not as strict regarding the background cast and historical correctness.

first of all, this was in middle ages, and back then there were no black of arabic people in europe other than traders and slaves. (obviuosly with few exceptions).
secondly i live in easter europe, there is 0 arabic people and 1 black person in my entire city. so much for multicultural. im not racist or anything, but not having many non-caucasians in europe is not factually correct. there are few exceptions, like parris, but thats about it.

There was an Asian dwarf, Chuckles, and a black man danced with the queen at the party. My bigger problem is why do they have to keep remaking Snow White? By even its name alone it can be seen to be a throwback to another era, one of homogeneity and clustered communities. Coal Black would never sell in the same fashion and is seen as an offensive joke. The Snow White cartoon from the 40's is more than enough to satisfy whatever need to see this particular story in action. The Dwarves could be the source of diversity, but if they aren't being played by non- dwarves, they are strange humanoid creatures,or like in Mirror Mirror, incapable of leading themselves or being a love interest. They were asexual lil kids needing a papa and mama. I knew this movie was going to have to subvert the genre for modern tastes, making the female more heroic and whatnot, but it didn't go nearly far enough.

Well this is not in modern day Europe.
Europe was promently causcausian back in the time this story took place. So no, it's not incorrect to show a period piece with mainly white people.
