Please elaborate on what the story is about and why you greatly admire it so much.

Any of the Grimm's tales that have sinister woods as a setting. I thought it strange that they used silver birch trees in parts of this adaptation. They are not so creepy-looking as some other types of trees.

King Thrushbeard. I love that the spoiled, shallow princess finds in the end that appearances aren't all that important.

i would love to see a mature retelling of the little mermaid. i think that would have a lot of potential both in drama and amazing visuals.

ummm, haven't they all been film adapted in one way or another already? including the odd movie about the grimm brothers themselves?
OOooh maybe the pied piper, i think that was theirs? I see jim carey in the role
they may need to be substantially changed for todays public
Remember the original versions was often to keep kids inline(red riding hood was originally eaten, later versions she was cut out and replaced with stones, in later verions, grandmother locked in cupboard and so on)
