Could The Eye be the Shemsu Hor, the followers of Horus? According to tradition they either ruled Egypt before the pharaohs or helped Horus in his battle against Set. We are told that The Eye is a secret society that formed in ancient Egypt.
The way I see it:
Shrike = Osiris. Like Osiris, Shrike died by drowning in a river. Osiris's corpse was lost for a while and had to be found by Isis, similar to how Shrike's body was never recovered. There is also the curious story of the chest containing the body of Osiris finding its way to the island of Byblos where a tree grew around it and which Isis later cut down to recover the chest. Compare with Shrike's magic trick of cutting down a tree to recover a playing card that he had placed years earlier and had since been grown over.
Thaddeus Bradley = Set. Set murdered Osiris. Bradley did not murder Shrike but he is held responsible by Rhodes and while Bradley and Shrike were not brothers like Set and Osiris they were antagonists.
Dylan Rhodes = Horus. Son of Osiris. He fought Set to get revenge for the death of his father, like Rhodes fights Bradley. Horus fought Set for eighty years, Rhodes fought Bradley for thirty years. He brings together the Four Horsemen to help him in his battle.
The Four Horsemen = The Shemsu Hor…semen? Semen plays a big part in the Osiris myth but I think popping up like that is probably coincidence. Why the Four Horsemen for a group that springs from ancient Egypt? That's rather incongruous. The horse-horus phonetic similarity seems more than chance so our heroes are actually The Four Horus-Men aka the Shemsu Hor.
Alma Dray = Hathor? but she's not very important.
There is no Isis unless you argue for the off-screen perhaps deceased mother of Rhodes.
The Eye uses the Eye of Horus as their symbol making an explicit connection between the two groups.
That's all fine and good, this movie could be yet another retelling of the Osiris myth except they are more focused on the existence and activities of a secret society. According to some the Shemsu Hor are a real secret society that injects messages into films and TV shows as a way of guiding humanity (they take a more active role in our affairs as well). They may have overtipped their hand here.
